WHO is Neil Laughton?

Neil is an ex-Royal Marine Officer and SAS soldier. His business career has spanned many levels of the corporate ladder, from self-employed door-to-door office equipment salesman to CEO of a multi-million pound construction and property development company. Concurrently, he has organised and led many adventurous expeditions all over the world.

Neil’s Career and Expedition Highlights

1984 Presented with his ‘Green Beret’ and becomes a Royal Marine Commando
1991 Passes Selection and joins the Special Air Service Regiment (SAS R)
1994 Awarded Postgraduate Diploma in Management & founds Office Projects Ltd
1996 Survives the worst storm in 100 years whilst high on Mt. Everest
1998 Completes the ‘7 Summits’ (the highest mountain on each continent)
1999 Pulls a sled to the North Geographic Pole on a last degree expedition
2000 Becomes the first person to jet-ski around the United Kingdom
2001 Leads the ‘Shackleton Memorial Expedition’ in Antarctica and South Georgia
2002 Wins a multi-million pound contract to build the new Rolls Royce HQ & Plant
2003 Sets World Records during the ‘Awesome Eight Extreme Golf Challenge’
2004 Learns to fly and is awarded his Helicopter Pilot’s Licence
2005 Makes 12 first ascents in Greenland & climbs highest peak above Arctic Circle
2006 Motorcycles over the Atlas Mountains and into the Sahara Desert
2007 Team Manager & Safety Officer for GKN Mission Everest Paramotor Expedition
2008 Develops the World's first high performance, road legal, bio-fuelled flying car
2009 Leads Skycar Expedition (London to Timbuktu), crossing the Sahara Desert
